  • CookiesI just realized that I've never posted a picture of Cookies. I think he was formally named Archer but I'm not sure. Anyway, he's doing great and he gets along with the other cat and the dog perfectly!
  • ElvisJust wanted to share this photo of "Elvis" (aka Butler) with you! He is doing well and we love him so much- he has so much character! Thank you for letting us bring him home.
  • Jerzee Girl (Ava)It's been 16 months since we brought Jerzee Girl (Ava) home as a souvenir from our spring break vacation, and she continues to grow and change from a stray, abandoned near AC, struggling to care for her kittens, to a carefree, cherished pet. She's learned how to play, loves to snuggle, and trusts us and her big sister. Thank you to CATS for all of your hard work and care!
  • CometWe adopted Comet two years ago from CATS. He is a constant source of laughter. Here he is helping me cook dinner. He is my loving companion, he follows me around from room to room as I do my household chores. He is my little love!
  • LoganHello - here is an update on Logan who we adopted on March 8 after she spent 3 years in your shelter! She climbs up on the bed with me and helps me study. We love having her in the family!

Porkchop and Applesause

Porkchop and Applesause

Porkchop is a 10-year-old Himmy and Applesauce a 9-year-old Russian Blue.  Because of the children's allergies, their family had to give them up.  Although they had been together since kittens and loved one another, they were to be separated with Applesauce having a no-kill shelter to take her but not Porkchop as he was a year older.  A request to C.A.T.S. for help in placing them together brought them to Mew To You, and happily they were adopted TOGETHER and are living the good life!

Emma

"EMMA" gave birth to seven kittens on the streets of Philadelphia. Her newborns were taken from her.... to the animal control facility, as the humans didn't want any more kittens in the neighborhood. C.A.T.S. took the kittens to bottlefeed them so they would not be euthanized. Five days had passed when someone called saying they thought they had found the momma in a yard in NE Philly. We were able to reunite her with her kittens. She was ecstatic, counted them, then resumed nursing. All kittens have been adopted into loving homes. EMMA is our Mew To You "store cat" until she finds her matched home.

Liam

"LIAM" was rescued from a Philadelphia college campus by caring students. They took him to the SPCA for vet care; he was malnourished and had a cut on his leg. Rather than take him to the public shelter the students searched for a no-kill option for LIAM. His age being about 5 years and in his poor condition he would not have been given a chance to get well and adopted. When the students called C.A.T.S. we wanted to help LIAM and we wanted these students to know they were so kind and caring to rescue him. LIAM would surely have died on the streets. His bloodwork showed toxoplasmosis levels so high it caused seizures. He has been in foster care and on aggressive medications. LIAM has gained weight, is doing well, and should be soon ready for adoption into a caring home. He has a wonderful temperament and the most beautiful green eyes!

Oma

9-year-old "OMA" was transferred to C.A.T.S. from a public shelter where they could not provide the care she needed. She had a tumor in her nasal passage. C.A.T.S. volunteers transported OMA from Ocean City to Red Bank Vet Hospital in Monmouth County for multiple radiation treatment to hopefully irradicate the tumor. The treatments were successful. A very loving and grateful OMA lives in a home with a senior who adores her and is cancer-free.

Truffles

"TRUFFLES" was in trouble in a public shelter. A stray with everything that could be wrong with a cat. He had upper respiratory infection, calicivirus, ringworm, earmites, and parasites. It took lots of love and tlc to get him healthy and adopatable. He's been named "VINNIE" by his new mom and dad and is an adored family member.

Glen

GLEN was transferred from a public shelter who could not hold him for four months as it was possible he was exposed to rabies on the streets. GLEN was Mew's "kitchen cat" for four months and had a home anxiously waiting for him when he was released by the Board of Health who visited him every two weeks. A super-sweet cat now a loved pet!

Midnight

MIDNIGHT was a farm cat who has been fed by a caretaker who rented a home on the farm. She was moving, could not take MIDNIGHT along, and was concerned that the farm owner stated he would shoot the cat if left behind. MIDNIGHT is here with C.A.T.S. at Mew To You waiting for a caring home. He has no desire to live outdoors anymore!
